EXTENSION
EXTENSION is a series of sculptures that create movement and foster connections.
The work originated around the body and developed with the challenge of extending human adornment to the space we live in, through connections.
The EXTENSION Artwork Collection appears an augmentation of jewel, a timeless adornment transcending the human form and the human norm. The chains, all handmade from reclaimed wood, stretch across the floor, oscillating between the ceiling and the wall, creating a dynamic design inviting the observer to an interaction, a connection.
In addition, the sculpture comes with three wall hooks and a ceiling hook, designed to enable a dialog with the space and allow the work to relate fluidly to its environment.
They allow for various combinations thanks also to the clasps placed at the ends of the pieces.
EXTENSION is a vision of space as an extension of our body, a CONNECTION between our inner space and the outer one we are immersed in.
