Care

All ARC pieces are handmade. We use natural materials, and both wood and silver can undergo changes over time. Therefore, we suggest taking special care of your jewelry to keep it beautiful.

Wood:

The majority of our collection pieces are made of wood. The finish is done with beeswax or mineral oils. Some pieces that appear shinier have been varnished with shellac, a varnish of natural origin. None of these treatments are harmful to your skin or health.

Recommendations:

Avoid contact with seawater or pool water.

Avoid contact with chemicals such as soap, cleaning products, makeup, cream, perfume.

Store separately.

Avoid storing your jewelry together with others; they may end up scratching each other.

If the wood loses its original shine, simply rub and polish the piece with a woolen cloth or a clean, soft brush. A drop of mineral oil helps enhance the surface and nourish the wood.

Silver:

Some elements of our jewelry are made of 950 silver. Silver, when exposed to air over time, undergoes an oxidation process, causing the pieces to darken on the surface.

Care Tips to Delay Natural Changes:

Store separately.

Avoid storing your jewelry together with others; they may end up scratching each other. Store in a dry environment, especially if you live in a place with high humidity. Protect your jewelry wrapped in tissue paper or a cloth.

Avoid contact with cream and perfume.

Clean the piece by rubbing it with a dry silver flannel. In the case of matte silver, you can use an abrasive sponge, rubbing in one direction only.
